This episode follows Chen Xuan, the殿主 (Dianzhu) of Shenlong Hall, as he returns after being released from prison. He has prepared a trillion-dollar betrothal gift, intending to surprise his fiancée, Bai Weiwei. However, upon his hopeful return to the Chen family home, he walks in on Bai Weiwei and his adopted younger brother, Chen Hao, being intimate on the sofa. When Chen Xuan questions them, Bai Weiwei shows no remorse. Instead, she mockingly admits that she framed Chen Xuan and sent him to prison simply because he annoyed her, and that the murder charge from years ago was fabricated. Chen Xuan then realizes he has served five years in prison for Chen Hao for nothing and has suffered the most complete betrayal. Facing verbal humiliation and provocation from Chen Hao, Chen Xuan slaps him in anger, finally seeing through their true natures and deciding to fight back.
