The episode opens with Alice, the true heiress of the Damon family, acting as a servant in her own home. She accidentally soils the dress of the impostor, Lola, and is immediately severely reprimanded by her mother, Lisa. Lola, feigning generosity, comes to Alice's defense, playing the role of a kind and understanding daughter in front of Lisa, further solidifying her position in her mother's heart. Following this, Lisa and Lola stage a touching mother-daughter reunion scene. Lisa expresses deep self-reproach for 'losing' her daughter for so many years and promises to compensate Lola twofold. Lola, meanwhile, cleverly comforts her mother, completely controlling the situation.
