This episode follows Lu Ning'an as she instantly sees through the scheme of Madam Xie and Xie Yunwang faking his death at his "funeral." Lu Ning'an feigns grief and, under the pretext of a "grand funeral for a national hero," insists on using her dowry to forcefully replace the originally simple coffin with an expensive one made of solid red sandalwood with excellent sealing. Facing Madam Xie's obstruction, Lu Ning'an sarcastically emphasizes the new coffin's "tight seal and lack of air circulation," intending to suffocate the faking-death Xie Yunwang inside, and then coldly orders the coffin to be raised.
