At the birthday banquet of the Song family's matriarch, Song Zhiwei's cousin, Song Chenghui, publicly humiliated her and her "useless" husband, Chen Ping'an, because they arrived empty-handed. Song Chenghui then presented a "Coiled Dragon Vase," an antique worth tens of millions, in his bid for the family patriarch position, determined to win.
