In this episode, after demonstrating his powerful fireball ability, the male protagonist Lin Feng is publicly accused by his elder sister Lin Qingxue of being a "medicine cultivator" who relies on drugs to enhance his strength. After Gu Ling'er steps forward to defend Lin Feng, Lin Qingxue escalates her accusations, inciting the crowd and slandering Gu Ling'er as Lin Feng's "sugar mama." When Lin Feng provokes Lin Qingxue into attacking him, she basely turns her attention to the defenseless Gu Ling'er. To protect Gu Ling'er, Lin Feng shields her with his own body, taking a fatal blow and suffering severe injuries.
