During a fierce battle in the Land of Holy Seals, Queen Mother Selena engages in a mortal combat against the undead commander, Necromancer, to protect her kingdom, but gradually loses the upper hand. Esher, who has come in search of his mother, sees her in grave danger and desperately tries to rush forward to save her, only to be forcibly stopped by his eldest brother King Soloren, second brother Idd, and sister Cassani, who do not trust his abilities. They believe that the inexperienced Esher rushing in would only distract Selena and lead to her death. Ultimately, Selena falls to the ground, vomiting blood under the Necromancer's heavy blow, and Esher lets out a heart-wrenching cry in despair.
