Plot of Episode 7

This episode follows male protagonist Lu Sheng's frantic plea to his wife, Lin Wu, to open a safe after their daughter Miaomiao becomes trapped inside. However, Lin Wu's ex-boyfriend, Zheng Bolin, sows discord by claiming the entire situation is a staged act by Lu Sheng to extort money. Swayed by Zheng Bolin's manipulation and the agreement of onlookers, Lin Wu begins to doubt Lu Sheng and the professionals who arrive to help. Despite the rescuers presenting their credentials and emphasizing the urgency of the situation, Zheng Bolin ultimately snatches their identification in public, declaring it fake. This escalates Miaomiao's perilous predicament and pushes the conflict to a climax.
