Plot of Episode 8

In a drizzly cemetery, the female lead Lu Mingyu is found by her cousin Lu Lin. Lu Mingyu calmly exposes Lu Lin's father's (her uncle's) scheme to capture her friend at the airport as a diversion. Faced with Lu Lin's violence, Lu Mingyu retorts verbally, revealing her uncle's pathological obsession with her mother and using it as a shield. As the conflict escalates, a flashback to ten years ago reveals Lu Lin's past indulgence of Lu Mingyu's wrongful accusations and mistreatment due to his favoritism towards his own sister. Ultimately, an enraged Lu Lin orders Lu Mingyu to be forcibly taken away, while Lu Mingyu dismissively calls him a "clown."
