Lin Yueyi dines with her son Xu Wenjing at a high-end French restaurant. Xu Wenjing throws a tantrum, demanding a burger. Lin Yueyi seizes this opportunity to expose Xu Rui's hypocrisy: he enjoys expensive French cuisine alone while only buying his son cheap fast food. Just then, Xu Rui arrives at the same restaurant with his mistress, Julie. To prevent her son from witnessing his father's infidelity, Lin Yueyi, suppressing her grief and anger, covers his mouth. Xu Rui is tender and attentive to Julie at the next table, even ordering identical dishes. Lin Yueyi witnesses his betrayal unfold before her eyes. Heartbroken, she realizes their marriage is irrevocably broken and hints to Xu Wenjing that he will soon have a "new mom."
