Plot of Episode 8

This episode follows Shen Qingwan as she's tasked by the Lu family to treat the comatose Lu Peihao. Butler Fu from the Lu family personally greets her with respect and only allows Shen Qingwan to ride in the Lu family's private car. Shen Liang, Cao Huiqin, and Shen Xuanyuan, a family of three, harbor ulterior motives. Shen Liang uses the excuse of worrying Shen Qingwan might not understand the rules to try and accompany her but is refused. They are forced to follow in their own car. Upon arrival at the Lu residence, the family patriarch, Lu Wanshan, places great hope in Shen Qingwan. Meanwhile, Shen Xuanyuan, fearing Shen Qingwan's ability to awaken Lu Peihao would disrupt her usurpation plans, feigns a stomach ache at the Lu residence, attempting to find an opportunity to sabotage things discreetly.
