This episode tells the story of Feng Qian deliberately playing the fool at the casino, pretending to be a gambling novice (a "greenhorn") so clueless that even "Landlord" would misidentify him, much to Du Yan's disdain. His opponents, Liu Tao and Ding Chun, see him as an easy target ("fat sheep") and set a trap, goading Du Yan into letting Feng Qian continue playing. Du Yan reluctantly agrees to give Feng Qian one last chance. Through his inner monologue, Feng Qian reveals he already saw through Liu Tao and Ding Chun's scheme to empty the Du family's coffers through a high-stakes game with a starting bid of 100,000 yuan. In the subsequent card game, with the help of an insider, Feng Qian boldly calls for "three lands" ("san fen di zhu") against the "trap good hands" deliberately dealt by his opponents, preparing for a counterattack.
