Plot of Episode 9

At an important social event, protagonist Harley's sister Ivy and her fiancé Gavin try to curry favor with Ms. Davis, a representative from HyperNova Group (who is actually Harley's subordinate, Laura), but are met with indifference. When Harley appears and is treated with respect by Laura, Ivy, enraged and embarrassed, publicly insults Harley. Harley's contractual partner, Nolan, in a tacit understanding, "accidentally" spills wine on Ivy. Harley then "unintentionally" trips Gavin, and the two join forces in a well-executed public humiliation. Afterward, Harley expresses satisfaction with Nolan's performance and transfers one million dollars to his account, revealing their contractual partnership.
