This episode tells the story of female protagonist Shu Xia, who is reborn (or awakens) with memories after a tragic past life where she was abused to death by the Lin family, who treated her as a "mobile blood bank." Facing the Lin family's indifference, moral blackmail, and the shameless demands of her ex-fiancé Fu Chenyan, Shu Xia no longer endures. She decisively refuses to donate blood for the adopted daughter Lin Miao, who has sepsis, and publicly announces her breakup with Fu Chenyan. The Lin family mistakenly believes Shu Xia is being kept by an older man.
