A romantic getaway turns into a nightmare when Evan discovers Serena’s village is filled with man-eating spider demons. Hunted under the full moon, betrayed by the living, and stalked by the one he loves, he teams up with a trapped demon hunter for one last escape. In this village, nothing is human—not even trust.

Episode 2 - Boyfriend on the Menu

The male lead, Wang Yang, is brought by his girlfriend Liu Ruyan to a remote village to meet her parents. As soon as they enter, a deranged girl referred to as "Little Sister" (Liu Susu) calls Wang Yang "Rourou" and attempts to attack him, trying to drive him away. Liu Ruyan and her mother drag her away, claiming she is mentally unstable, and threaten her in private. At the dinner table, the mother and daughter launch a dual assault of verbal and physical seduction on Wang Yang with ill intentions. While picking up chopsticks, Wang Yang almost discovers the truth but is quickly mesmerized, falling deep into the trap set by these alluring mother and daughter.

Liu Ruyan and her mother dismiss this as a psychotic episode, leaving Wang Yang confused and suspicious of the bizarre situation, hinting at a conspiracy of lies and danger.

He discovers a locked secret room that he cannot open. After forcing his way in, he is shocked by the bloody torture instruments and human skeletons inside, and recalls what "sister Liu" once mentioned about "meat," realizing he has stumbled into a cannibalistic den. Just as he is overcome with terror, the voices of Liu Ruyan and her accomplices are heard outside the door. They have discovered Wang Yang's intrusion, leaving him in a desperate situation.

However, "Liu Xiaomei" reveals her true identity as Liu Susu, a special agent from Bureau 749, who was captured in a trap set by demons like Liu Ruyan during a mission. Wang Yang decides to escape with her, only to find themselves going in circles within the cave. Just as Liu Susu points out the escape route using her professional knowledge, their path is blocked by Liu Ruyan's accomplice, Hu Xiaoru, plunging them into a new desperate situation.
