Emily Johnson, a naive intern at Bennett Corporation, finds herself in the bed of the company’s dashing CEO, Alexander Bennett, after one too many drinks. Panicked, she tries to sneak out unnoticed but accidentally leaves her best friend Claire Harrison’s resume behind. Seeing a golden ticket, Claire swoops in, steals Emily’s identity, and moves into the luxurious Orchid Estate as the boss’s new flame. Meanwhile, Emily, hoping to lay low, gets an unexpected promotion to Alexander’s secretary…

Episode 2 - Mr. Bennett, you've got the wrong wife!

The episode opens with Jiang Sheng returning late from a class reunion and losing her best friend Lin Xiaoxiao's interview resume, leading to a dispute between them. Meanwhile, Li Tingyan, the CEO of Li Group, spends a night with a woman (Jiang Sheng) and mistakenly picks up Lin Xiaoxiao's resume at the scene. He orders his assistant to find "Lin Xiaoxiao" from the resume at all costs. Jiang Sheng joins Li Group and coincidentally, a female secretary who tried to seduce Li Tingyan is fired. From colleagues, she learns that the CEO despises women who throw themselves at him. At the end, Jiang Sheng and Li Tingyan accidentally bump into each other in the company hallway. Li Tingyan smells a familiar scent on her, recognizing her as the woman from that night, setting the stage for the core conflict of mistaken identity.

In the parking lot, Jiang Sheng mistakenly believes Li Tingyan's girlfriend is her best friend Lin Xiaoxiao and privately curses Li Tingyan as a "scumbag." Later, while on the phone with her friend Han Jiayin, she complains about Li Tingyan to his face while saying one thing and doing another behind his back, only to be caught red-handed by Li Tingyan. Just as they are in an awkward confrontation, Li Tingyan's sleazy business partner, Boss Wu, appears and harasses Jiang Sheng with inappropriate remarks and unreasonable demands, igniting a new conflict.
