Jiang Ci, late at night, finds Jin Xian exercising and, due to the stereotype that fox spirits have "heavy desires," misunderstands and probes him. Jin Xian seizes the opportunity to tease Jiang Ci back, even discovering the steamy romance novel she's writing on her laptop. The atmosphere becomes intimate as they struggle to get the laptop. Embarrassed by Jin Xian discovering her "artistic" side, Jiang Ci abandons her plan to ask Jin Xian to pretend to be her boyfriend at a company event and decides to face her ex-boyfriend Zhou Yu's mockery alone.
