Jewelry designer Xie Qinghan breaks up with her boyfriend of eight years, Qiao Yizhou, stating she has repaid her debt of gratitude with her design fees. Enraged, Qiao Yizhou resorts to violence, choking her and threatening her with her father's medical expenses, forbidding her from leaving him. After humiliating her and asserting that Xie Qinghan will always be his property, Qiao Yizhou leaves and makes a call, intending to ruin her career in the entire industry. Just as Xie Qinghan despairs, a mysterious man (Shao Qingyun) appears at her door, bringing a new twist to the story.
