After completing a transaction with the male lead Shao Qingyun, the female lead Xie Qinghan attempts to draw a line between them. Back in the present, Xie Qinghan's fiancé, Qiao Yizhou, questions her whereabouts that morning and warns her against seducing Shao Qingyun, revealing the tense and complex relationship between the three.
