Plot of Episode 11

Gu Jiang brags to Joanna about how he "calmly" resolved trouble. Afterwards, Joanna receives a series of calls from her father, Qiao Donglin. In the calls, Qiao Donglin harshly scolds Joanna for not being considerate of her parents and issues an ultimatum: she must divorce Gu Jiang, that "good-for-nothing," or be disowned by the Qiao family. Facing a breakdown in family ties, Joanna feels disheartened and decides not to return home. Instead, she takes Gu Jiang to Linjiang Hotel to "get a room," much to Gu Jiang's shock.
