Plot of Episode 2

Adele wakes up once again in a bed at the Red House, surprised to find herself "reborn." She notices that the number on her palm has changed from 10 to 9, realizing that every death consumes this number. Marfa, the manager of the Red House, rudely interrupts her thoughts and forces her to serve the brutal guest, Duke Sergei. In the hallway, Adele witnesses other girls being cruelly abused, and in the room, she sees Grace, who died a miserable death after taking a fatal blow in her place. Faced with Duke Sergei, who attempts to assault her, Adele feigns submission, and finally seizes the right moment to pierce his throat with a hairpin, successfully fighting back and killing him.
