The high school senior physics mock exam begins, but Teacher Wang accidentally distributes the extremely difficult entrance exam for academicians to the students. Wan Chengrui, the top student, frowns in difficulty, while Wan Pengfan, perceived as a slacker by everyone, is writing furiously, mistaken by the teacher for doodling. Meanwhile, Old Song, the Wan family's neighbor, praises Wan Chengrui's excellence in front of Wan Qiang. Subsequently, Teacher Wang calls Wan Qiang to complain that Wan Pengfan is at the bottom of the class and unmotivated, suggesting he drop out. Wan Qiang pleads, and finally agrees with the teacher: if Wan Pengfan remains at the bottom in this physics exam, he will personally handle his withdrawal from school.
