Plot of Episode 2

Rachel bursts into her father Phil's room and is shocked to find him in an affair with a young woman named Kelly. Phil is unbothered and announces that Kelly is pregnant and will become Rachel's stepmother, with their wedding scheduled for next Friday. Rachel argues fiercely with her father in a mixture of anger and disbelief, ultimately being kicked out of the room. Afterwards, a distraught Rachel confides in the butler, David, complaining that her father has been bewitched by Kelly. As David comforts her, their relationship takes on an intimate and ambiguous tone.
