Plot of Episode 8

At the wedding of her father Phil and stepmother Kelly, daughter Rachel confronts Kelly in the stairwell. Rachel resorts to sarcastic taunts, attempting to belittle Kelly, but Kelly retaliates with a smug confession. She reveals she not only used Rachel's previous "betrayal" to solidify her relationship with Phil but also unexpectedly snatched the CEO position at the company that should have been Rachel's. Faced with Kelly's ultimate provocation to call her "Mother," Rachel is utterly enraged, officially igniting the war between them.
