To find the person possessing the "Spiritual Jade Heart" to cure his frigid poison, Demon Lord Rong Yuan rescues Leaf Li, a flower fairy being pursued by her rival Yun Luo, on the street. Leaf Li, appearing innocent and lively, falls in love with Rong Yuan at first sight and pledges herself to him. Rong Yuan plays along with her, taking her back to his manor and promising to grant her three wishes, secretly intending to take her heart afterward. However, Leaf Li sees through his "storybook" scheme and decides to play along. After making her first wish for a hearty "farewell feast," she boldly proposes her second wish: to consummate her marriage with Rong Yuan, catching him completely off guard.
