In a quiet chamber, dimly lit by candlelight, the female lead, carrying a food box, attempts to persuade His Majesty, who is meditating and refusing to eat, to have a meal. Faced with His Majesty's coldness and dismissal, she goes from humbly pleading, claiming her life is intrinsically linked to whether he eats, to boldly provoking him, questioning his resolve in achieving "emptiness of the four elements." After repeated attempts are met with His Majesty's angry rejections, the female lead changes her strategy, issuing a threat, "Don't blame me for being impolite." This ultimately forces His Majesty, who had kept his eyes closed, to open them, setting the stage for an imminent tense confrontation between the two.
