The battle for the Carter family inheritance begins. Sophia Miller accidentally bumps into the arrogant Lucas Carter in a hallway. The scene shifts to a hospital, where Ethan Carter lies in a coma following a car accident. His mother, Kelly, is openly hostile toward Lucas, the uninvited illegitimate son. Lucas taunts them, claiming that since Ethan is now infertile, he will lose his right to inherit the company. At a critical moment, Ethan wakes up and banishes Lucas, then reveals to his mother that he had frozen his sperm. Kelly immediately orders her assistant, Mark, to find a suitable candidate for artificial insemination to secure their hold on the inheritance.
