The episode opens with Shen Tang's father furious because the amnesiac Huo Yanli (mistaken for a beggar) shattered the "Heirloom Jade Seal," reportedly worth eighty million. However, prompted by her daughter Xing Xing, Shen Tang discovers that the jade seal and her grandfather's other collectibles are all fakes. This incident makes Shen Tang suspicious of the beggar's true identity, speculating he might be the missing Huo family patriarch, Huo Yanli. She immediately orders Butler Zhang to conduct a paternity test for the "beggar" and her daughter Xing Xing. While waiting for the results, the butler bathes Huo Yanli, who has the mental capacity of a child. Finally, assistant Zhou Wen hands the paternity test report to Shen Tang, leaving the audience in suspense for the episode.
