This episode opens with Shen Tang, the female CEO, receiving a paternity test result from her assistant, Zhou Wen. The test confirms that the father of her daughter, Xingxing, is the amnesiac "beggar" – who is actually Huo Yanli, the CEO of Huo Group, missing for six years. Facing company difficulties, Shen Tang initially sees Huo Yanli as a "hot potato" and intends to hand him over to the police. However, under Xingxing's clever arrangement, a newly cleaned-up Huo Yanli makes a handsome appearance. Shen Tang immediately changes her mind and decides to keep him. With his daughter's assistance, Huo Yanli, whose mind is like a child's, starts calling Shen Tang "wife." Although Shen Tang verbally resists, the plot hints that she has begun to leverage this new situation.
