The episode opens with male lead Lin Hai promising his future father-in-law (uncle) to hold a grand wedding three days later at the city's most luxurious Guosheng Grand Hotel, much to the satisfaction of his future in-laws. On the wedding day, the father-in-law (Dashan), mother-in-law, and relatives arrive at the hotel, lavishing praise on its luxury and feeling greatly honored. However, in the bride's dressing room, the bride is behaving intimately with a man (Fatty), who even boasts that after getting the groom Lin Hai drunk that night, he will "take his place in the bridal chamber," to which the bride expresses her approval. Just then, Lin Hai happens to push open the door and witnesses this scene, furiously denouncing them as "adulterers." The plot abruptly ends at the climax of the conflict.
