Plot of Episode 6

In a dimly lit bedroom, Saijo Riku attempts to force himself on his unwell wife, Kanno Minori. When she resists, Riku is disgusted and verbally abuses her with harsh words. Just as Riku mistakenly believes Minori has changed her mind and approaches her again, Minori's inner monologue, born of despair, reveals her tragic fate of not having long to live, setting a heartbreaking foreshadowing for the story.
