Xu Yuanyuan, flustered, claims she just woke up and tries to stop Lin Yuan from entering the bedroom. Lin Yuan probes by pretending to retrieve his ID, and Xu Yuanyuan's excessive nervousness intensifies his suspicion. Just as Xu Yuanyuan believes she has successfully tricked Lin Yuan into the study, he spots a torn condom wrapper on the floor.
