Plot of Episode 6

A young woman (the protagonist) arrives at her fiancé Zhou Yueshen's home with her luggage, shocked by "luxury items" like a TV and sofa that he already owned in the 1980s. She meets Zhou Yueshen's adopted, non-verbal daughter, Zhou Yaoyao, for the first time and interacts kindly with her, a stark contrast to the harsh attitude of the onlookers. After developing an initial fondness for the kind Yaoyao, the protagonist speculates that her fiancé Zhou Yueshen might be ugly, which is why no one wanted to marry him.
