Chen Shuran discovers shocking evidence from voicemails and private videos sent by Yang Man, her husband Zhou Haoyu's mistress. She is devastated to learn that not only is her husband having an affair with her future sister-in-law, but they also conspired to harm her unborn child with abortion medication. Overwhelmed by betrayal and grief, Chen Shuran receives a call from her brother-in-law, Zhou Lei. She suppresses her emotions and doesn't expose them immediately.
