At the wedding of her brother Zhou Lei and Yang Man, Chen Shuran publicly accuses the bride, Yang Man, of being a "homewrecker," triggering a violent family conflict. Her in-laws and husband, Zhou Haoyu, all criticize Chen Shuran for being unreasonable and defend Yang Man. In the chaos, Zhou Haoyu panics internally, fearing that his affair with Yang Man will be exposed. After the wedding ceremony is forced to begin, Yang Man privately threatens Chen Shuran.
