During a seemingly blind date, the female lead Lin Jiajia and the male lead Pei Yi (under a disguised identity) probe each other. Pei Yi pretends to be a president's driver with a modest salary, but inadvertently "brags" about his residence in the top-tier luxury area "Yuehai Mansion" while describing properties. After Lin Jiajia exposes his lie, Pei Yi goes along with it and admits he likes to brag. To his surprise, Lin Jiajia is not angry; instead, she happily declares that she also loves to brag, believing they are a perfect match with "poor ambition but not poor spirit" and "matching social status." Her enthusiastic speech catches the noble Pei Yi off guard.
