Shadow pack Alpha Aldrich makes a striking entrance, rescuing Hilary from the pack guards who were bullying her. The guards had falsely accused Hilary of being a trespassing rogue wolf, only to be sternly rebuked by Madam Sunny. Madam Sunny publicly declares that Hilary is none other than Aldrich’s wife and the future Luna of the pack. Terrified, the guards fall to their knees, begging for mercy and claiming it was all a misunderstanding because Hilary could not shift.
