Plot of Episode 7

This episode tells the story of Richard's mother, Emma Norman, who orchestrates a scheme to get her son together with the imposter Nicky Green. She first consults with her accomplice, lawyer Tom, planning to make Nicky shine at the following evening's party to attract Richard. She then summons Richard's assistant, Hawes, instructing him to bring Richard to the party, but inadvertently reveals the full name of Richard's true wife (who is also his divorce lawyer) as Nicole Norman. Hawes is shocked by this realization, understands Emma's plot, and rushes out to make a phone call, attempting to reveal his wife's true identity to the unsuspecting Richard.
