Plot of Episode 8

This episode tells how the president of the Lin Group (the old master) suspects Xie Cheng'an's background upon seeing him. Meanwhile, the president's adopted daughter, Lin Qiao, fearing she will lose everything if Xie Cheng'an becomes president, fails to seduce him and, in a fit of rage, hires a thug named "Brother Leopard" to cause a car accident. The accident occurs while Xie Cheng'an is on the phone with his wife Ning Xia, sharing good news. Xie Cheng'an falls unconscious at the scene, his life hanging in the balance, leaving Ning Xia in immense fear and suspense.
