The episode opens with Gu Huaizhou being beaten by Cheng Ye and others after warning them about the impending arrival of "man-eating ants." No one believes him except for Lu Yao, who steps in to defend him. The guesthouse owner, Boss Zhou, intervenes, and the group then drinks and makes merry in the courtyard, dismissing Gu Huaizhou's warning with scorn. Gu Huaizhou counts down alone in his room. When the time comes, a swarm of man-eating ants indeed attacks, plunging everyone into panic. Su Nian questions Boss Zhou about why the protective measures failed, leaving him speechless. As Cheng Ye mocks Boss Zhou, he suddenly notices slime on his hand. Looking up in shock, he sees a giant ant queen and the episode ends with his scream.
