Fifteen years ago, the once-mighty House Severu has fallen into ruin. Eric, a member of the family, is relentlessly bullied, humiliated, and threatened with physical harm at school by Malrick, the eldest son of the Flame Clan. Just in the nick of time, Calista, going by the alias Kali, makes a powerful entrance, unleashing devastating frost magic to heavily injure Malrick and save her brother. However, the magical fluctuations alert Audric, the Grand Elder of the City-State of Aus. Under the brutal law that strictly forbids women from practicing magic, Audric detects the "unclean" aura of female magic in the air.
