Episode 11 - Moonlight in His Arms

The episode opens with the female lead, Liu Mingyue, on the battlefield, precisely killing enemy soldiers attempting to ambush General Qin Mu of Zhennan with her Western hand cannon, saving him and secretly vowing to protect him for the rest of her life. The story then shifts to a flashback/prequel: in the Liu family's main hall, her elder sister, Liu Ruyan, feigns sincerity, claiming she will marry her cousin Liang Bingwen of Qinghan to uphold a family promise. However, she harbors malicious intentions and uses this as an excuse, colluding with her biased father, Lord Liu, to forcibly seize Liu Mingyue's generous dowry. Seeing through their hypocrisy, Liu Mingyue goes along with their plan, relinquishing her dowry and only requesting her father's collection of Western hand cannons for self-defense. Lord Liu, though suspicious, eventually agrees at Liu Ruyan's instigation.
