Plot of Episode 2

To escape her sister Grace's abusive husband, Bill, and protect Grace, protagonist Elise Moore impulsively marries Alexander Alger, whom she's just met and who claims to be an ordinary construction worker. Elise hopes to move away from her sister's home and start a new life through marriage. However, after getting their marriage certificate, when Elise suggests moving, Alexander becomes evasive about the house address and keys, foreshadowing his hidden true identity.
