Plot of Episode 6

Alexander Alger returns home late at night to find he's forgotten his keys. He calls Elise Moore, but she doesn't answer, so he knocks on the door. Elise, mistaking him for an intruder, grabs a small knife for defense. When she opens the door, both she and Alexander are startled. After the misunderstanding is cleared up, they engage in an awkward conversation. To avoid a repeat of the scare, Alexander tells Elise that unless he's away on a business trip, he'll be home every night. Elise outwardly agrees, but their relationship remains distant and tense.
