Lin Zhixia has long been harassed by her creep of a brother-in-law, Zhou Qiang. Desperate to escape her difficult situation and move out of the Lin family home, she decides to find a flash-marriage partner through a matchmaking agency. To her surprise, her blind-date match turns out to be the exceptionally charismatic Shen Yanci. In reality, Shen Yanci is the richest man in Shangjing who has been secretly in love with Lin Zhixia for years. He has meticulously orchestrated this encounter by buying the matchmaking agency and intentionally flat-tires his car to accidentally "run into" her and pick up her lost pendant.
