The episode opens with protagonist Fujii Chihiro working at an upscale club when she is harassed by a patron, Hasumi Yuuto. Chihiro attempts to refuse him by stating she is married, but Yuuto is unconcerned and surprised that Chihiro doesn't recognize him. Meanwhile, Chihiro's husband, Yamamoto Tomoya, is having an affair with her best friend and colleague, Ayaka, at their home. The two shamelessly discuss how they will enjoy the money Chihiro earns through her sacrifices, mocking her efforts. Just as they become intimate, Chihiro returns home from work and appears to stumble upon them, leaving the episode with a strong cliffhanger of conflict.
