Plot of Episode 5

After a one-night stand, protagonist Chihiro finds herself entangled with a mysterious man named Yuuto, who seems to know her. Upon returning home, Chihiro is confronted and beaten by her husband Tomoya and mother-in-law Riko, who hold photos of her and Yuuto. However, to secure investment from the Hasumi family and save the family business, Riko forces Chihiro and Tomoya to play the role of a loving couple at the Hasumi family's party. In the end, Riko coldly states that once the investment is secured, Chihiro can be discarded at will, revealing the family's true intentions.
