The episode opens with Crown Prince Xie Yunzheng deliberately humiliating his younger brother, Prince Xian Xie Zixun, in the courtyard. He also scornfully questions the origins of Xie Youwei (Weiwei), the girl adopted by Prince Xian, calling her a "lowly girl" who would tarnish the Xie clan's bloodline. Faced with the Crown Prince's threats, Prince Xian stands firm, expressing unwavering protection and fatherly love for Weiwei. He even vows that after his death, Weiwei will be the only one to shatter his burial urn and guide his spirit.
