At the entrance of a hotel parking lot, Zhang Yuanyue, a former magnate in hiding, rides a dilapidated tricycle to take his top scorer son, Zhang Xi, for his university registration. He encounters his cousin Zhang Chaoxiang, who arrives in a Mercedes-Benz, impeccably dressed, along with his daughter Zhang Wenxiang. Zhang Wenxiang mistakes Zhang Yuanyue for a ragpicker and mocks him by throwing an empty bottle. Zhang Chaoxiang seizes the opportunity to publicly humiliate Zhang Yuanyue for his lack of success, flaunting his fully paid Mercedes worth over 700,000 yuan, and belittling Zhang Xi's top scorer status as worthless in the face of social connections. Zhang Chaoxiang smugly reveals that his daughter has secured an internship at the top financial institution "Dahua Group." Facing the humiliation, Zhang Yuanyue calmly retaliates, stating that he has two Maybachs parked in his garage, escalating the conflict fiercely between the two parties.
