Plot of Episode 10

The episode opens with male lead Ye Jingyan in a hospital room, verbally abusing and physically assaulting his wife Gu Anran, who lies in bed. He resents Gu Anran deeply because of Cheng Susu's disability, believing her to be malicious. The story then flashes back to the past, revealing that Ye Jingyan once saved Gu Anran's life in a car accident. Returning to the present, after enduring Ye Jingyan's hatred, Gu Anran is heartbroken. She feels she has repaid her life-saving debt with her suffering and calmly and resolutely agrees to a divorce, shocking Ye Jingyan and bringing their relationship to an end.
