Shen Jinchen is hospitalized with severe injuries, including broken ribs, a fractured leg, and stitches on his head. However, his ex-fiancée, Zhou Xitong, forcibly tries to take Shen Jinchen's last bottle of painkillers, claiming it's for her brother, Zhou Yuxuan, who has only a minor hand injury. When confronted by Shen Jinchen about his condition, Zhou Xitong shows no remorse, instead accusing him of being difficult. She indulges Zhou Yuxuan's manipulative behavior and ultimately abandons the severely injured Shen Jinchen, leaving with Zhou Yuxuan. After Zhou Xitong's departure, Shen Jinchen immediately reverts to his cold CEO persona. His weakness was a ruse; his true intention is revenge. He promptly initiates a comprehensive economic attack on the Zhou family, marking the official beginning of his revenge drama.
